Key Features of the Sony WH-CH520
Long Battery Life with Quick Charging
These headphones offer up to 50 hours of battery life, according to the product description. That is enough for long trips, busy weeks, or a festival weekend. Quick charging is also supported, which helps when you forget to charge them overnight. A USB Type-C cable is included in the package. Actual battery life can vary depending on volume and how you use them.
Customizable Sound with EQ Custom
With the Sony | Headphones Connect app, you can use EQ Custom to adjust the sound to match your taste. This is useful if you listen to different types of audio, such as pop, podcasts, or movies, and want more control over how they sound.
DSEE for Compressed Music
The headphones include DSEE technology, which is designed to boost the quality of compressed music files. If you often stream music online, this feature is meant to help your tracks sound better.
Comfort and Design
Lightweight Build
The lightweight design makes these headphones easy to wear and carry. This is helpful for commuting, studying, or long listening sessions at home.
Swivel Earcups and Soft Ear Pads
The swivel earcups are designed to slip on and off gently. The adjustable headband, cushion, and soft ear pads aim to give you all-day comfort. Keep in mind that these are on-ear headphones, so they rest on your ears instead of surrounding them. The feel can be different from over-ear styles, and comfort is always personal.
Six Color Options
You can choose from Black, Blue, White, Pink, Yellow, and Cappuccino. Color availability may change, so check the product page for what is offered.
Calls and Connection
Built-In Microphone for Hands-Free Calls
The built-in microphone lets you make hands-free calls without taking your phone out of your pocket. This can be handy for quick chats, work calls, or online classes.
Multipoint Connection
Multipoint connection lets you connect to two devices at once and switch between them quickly. For example, you can listen to music on your laptop and still be ready for a call on your phone.
What Is in the Box
The product description confirms that a USB Type-C cable is included. Please check the Amazon product page for the full list of items in the package before you buy.
Who Are These Headphones Best For?
Commuters and Travelers
Long battery life, a light build, and easy device switching make these headphones a practical choice for the road.
Students and Remote Workers
The built-in microphone and multipoint connection can help you move between classes, meetings, and music without extra steps.
Everyday Listeners
If you want a simple pair of wireless headphones from a trusted brand, with some sound control through the app, these are worth considering.
Things to Consider Before You Buy
The product description does not mention active noise cancellation, so these headphones may not block out much outside sound. On-ear headphones can feel different from over-ear or earbud styles, so think about how you like to wear headphones. Also, the listing shows that availability and delivery details can vary by location, so check the Amazon product page for the latest information.
